Natural product
Terra Lana Products Ltd is the leading manufacturer of wool based building insulation in New Zealand. Terra Lana uses carefully selected wool off-cuts from local textile and carpet manufacturers and blends this with pure sheep wool to make a natural fibre product. The insulation is held together with a little polyester meltbond fibre which gives the pieces strength and stability.
Breathe easy
Wool insulation is safe to handle and breathe, making it comfortable to install. It is non-irritant, non-allergenic and non-toxic, allowing you to breathe easy day in day out. As well, unwanted noise from adjacent rooms is reduced by sound waves being bounced between the wool fibres.
Air conditioner
Wall insulation from Terra Lana outperforms other wall insulation products because of wool fibres' breathability. It absorbs moisture when the temperature is cold and releases heat into your house, thereby reducing condensation, mould and the chill factor. On a hot day the opposite occurs - wool gives off moisture into the air, at the same time absorbing heat, making your house cooler.
