Natural product
Terra Lana Products Ltd is the leading manufacturer of wool based building insulation in New Zealand. Terra Lana uses carefully selected wool off-cuts from local textile and carpet manufacturers and blends this with pure sheep wool to make a natural fibre product. The wool insulation is bonded between polyester layers which give the underfloor blanket rigidity so that it will not sag.

Accommodating
Underfloor insulation from Terra Lana is easier to install and more effective than closed cell foam insulation. Terra Lana does not require precise cutting to be fitted and stapled to the sides of the joists and variances in joist spacings can be easily accommodated. Because it can be fitted with no gaps, the insulation can achieve its maximim benefit of an R1.8 rating.
