Duvet technology
Technobond polyester insulation is made by Ellis Fibre, one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers of duvets and furniture wadding. Made out of semi-rigid, lofted, spun polyester fibre roll, similar material to that which keeps most of us warm in our beds, Technobond suffers from none of the handling and respiratory issues commonly experienced with other home insulation products.
Safe air
Safe, non toxic and super easy to handle, Technobond polyester fibres are not of a respirable size supporting safer indoor air quality. Technobond insulation will not slump or lose loft over time and together with polyester's very high levels of durability, and moisture, mould and mildew resistance, means that Technobond easily meets and exceeds New Zealand Building Code 15 and 50 year durability benchmarks. Technobond polyester insulation is EECA approved to use in retrofitting homes.
Professional installation
Available in R2.6 or RO.2 blankets, Technobond can be used to top up existing ceiling insulation or be installed where no insulation exists in existing homes. AbsoluteEnergy has a team of installers who have the knowledge and skills to install Technobond correctly and also have the ability and willingness to get into confined ceiling spaces.
