NOVAtherm is made of polyester, the
material that is used in most pillows. It is a unique mix of premium
polyester, including hollow conjugate fiber - technology from
high-quality sleeping bags and extreme clothing. This delivers
outstanding insulation in ceilings and walls.
Performance
NOVAtherm
is world-leading thermal insulation, designed and made in New Zealand.
It is ideal for all kinds of residential and commercial building.
NOVAtherm is extremely easy to install, and delivers outstanding
insulation in ceilings and walls. For total assurance, it carries a
50-year performance guarantee.
Proven
NOVAtherm has
been installed in over 10,000 New Zealand homes, and in numerous public
buildings including The Sky Tower, Auckland Hospital, Te Papa and the
Beehive. The Ministry of Housing and EECA* support many regional
and local projects to install NOVAtherm into older homes. The
insulation is also exported around the Pacific and to Japan.
NOVAtherm is BRANZ-appraised, confirming that it fully complies with the building code.
50 year performance guarantee
NOVAtherm
keeps performing over time, even in harsh environmental conditions.
NOVAtherm is the only insulation to carry a 50-year performance
guarantee. As long as the insulation was installed correctly, and
remains adequately protected, it is guaranteed to perform as well as
when new, at any stage up to the full 50 years. (The guarantee ends
after this time, but the NOVAtherm will keep on performing.)
Healthy and safe
There
are NO glues used in making any NOVAtherm or NOVAhush products, whereas
some other forms of insulation are bonded with glues. Polyester has no
negative effect on health. Heat-bonded polyester does not release
fibres into the air. This is one reason why NOVAtherm is used in many
hospitals and buildings with air-conditioning systems.
NOVAtherm is fire-resistant. It self extinguishes and will not carry flame.
